Our Company
Meemken Wurstwaren was founded in 1934, and today it is the founder’s grandchildren who run the family business in Gehlenberg.
Since 1999 we have been producing halal specialities with steadily growing success. In the production of our products we do not only apply the highest quality standards – we also feel obliged to our employees and the environment. This includes the production of green energy and the renunciation of contract workers.
Our responsibility
At Meemken Wurstwaren, state-of-the-art production methods are combined with aspects such as sustainability, ecology, animal welfare and social responsibility.
Quality, safety and certification
Only beef and poultry meat is processed in our plant in Gehlenberg. Therefore we can always guarantee our Halal customers the highest possible product safety and quality.
Corresponding certifications (HQC – Halal Quality Control) prove the high standard.
